TASKBAR
COLONY

A tiny space colony that lives above your taskbar and grows while you work.

Coming to Steam. Follow Tom Games to hear about it first.

The Taskbar Colony strip above a Windows taskbar: solar farm, domes, greenhouses, launch pad and colonists under a starfield actual game footage

Ambient by design

It works where you work

The sky is click-through

A slim always-on-top strip docked over the taskbar. Clicks in the empty sky pass straight through to whatever you are doing. Only the colony itself catches your mouse.

A real idle economy

Nine buildings from Solar Array to Terraformer, production milestones, supply pods parachuting in, cargo ships worth catching. It keeps earning while you are away.

Evacuate and ascend

Push each colony run further, then evacuate for permanent prestige. Every run starts faster, reaches higher, and the strip fills with more life.

The loop

Glance. Collect. Get back to work.

Build your strip

Buy buildings from the pop-out command window. Each one lands on the strip with its own district, crew and animations.

Catch the moments

Supply pods drift down every few minutes and cargo ships wait on the pad. A glance tells you if something is worth a click.

Found the next colony

Evacuate for prestige and start again, faster. Your colonists hop, the confetti flies, the flag goes back up.
